Borough of Smithton, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, will accept sealed bids for a three (3) year contract for waste collection including collection, removal and disposal of all waste materials from residences. Bid documents and instructions are available at the Smithton Borough office (724) 872-6406, via email: smithtonboro@hotmail.com or at www.smithtonboro.us.

Sealed bids must be sent by U.S. Postal Service to: Smithton Borough PO Box 374 Smithton PA 15479 or dropped off at 615 Center Street, Mondays or Wednesday s. Bids must be received by October 14, 2024 at 1:00 PM.  Bid opening will take place on October 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the borough building, and the contract will be awarded at our regular scheduled council meeting at 6:30 PM.

The Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any part of any or all bids; to waive any irregularities in the bidding; and to enter into a contract with bidder whom, in their opinion, offers the lowest, responsive and most responsible bid.
